I got my first standard poodle in March 1999 and it was love a first sight.
It took me a month or two to adjust to having this new "child" in the house,
but now I don't know what I would do without him. In February 2000,
I decided to get Bogart a playmate, and bought Sophie.
Two funny poodle children are much better than one!
Here's our pictures:

Bogart
Bogart, at 14 mos. (he's 8 now), and just clipped very short. Bo's a mama's boy. He was so attached to me that after a year, we decided to get a playmate for him to see if it would distract him a little bit.
Bo turned two on 10/23/00. On 11/29/00, he was diagnosed with canine Addison's Disease.
To read more about this disease, visit Melody's website on Addison's Disease in Dogs at http://www.geocities.com/k9addisons/
Also, if you have a dog with Addison's or need any other compounded medications for your pets, be sure to get in touch with Donna Mathias as Tiffany Natural Pharmacy. She has been so great to work with and it has saved me a ton of money. Their website address is: www.tiffanynaturalpharmacy.com.
Bo's favorite game is catch. He likes to play with his sister, Sophie. He also gets very jealous if she gets too much attention from us.
Bogart loves "cookies" so much, he could replace the "cookie monster" on Sesame Street...maybe we should dye him blue.

Sophie
Sophie, at 6 mos.
1999-2010
She's sweet and affectionate, but can rough house with her big brother. She likes the outdoors and loves to carry her toys around. When she was little and Bogart teased her and took her toys, she'd grab onto his tail with her teeth and trail him around the room. Now that she's bigger, she wants all the toys and takes them away from Bo. She'll grab one toy in her mouth, and put her foot on the other to hide it from him.
My sweet girl lost her battle with cancer on March 8, 2010.
